What is PitchWork?
PitchWork is a series of virtual pitching and networking event for early-stage startup entrepreneurs to practice pitching in a low stake environment and network at the same time. PitchWork is sponsored by Launchise (launchise.com) and Meetaway (meetaway.com).
Practice makes perfect! The pitch event is more focused on helping you practice your pitch (investment purposes) and get feedback before you pitch at a live event in front of potential investors.
Get Feedback and Learn from Observing! Feedback is the only way you can improve your idea and your pitch. Plus, you can get a lot of great insights from fellow entrepreneurs who are on similar journey as you.
Connect with People! Building a scalable business requires people that can advise you, join your team, and invest in your passion. This is a great networking opportunity in the comfort of your home without having to go anywhere, and you are automatically connected to people.
What's the event structure?
We're running the event as a meetaway. Meetaways are virtual events that match people for a series of 1-on-1 video calls. After each conversation, you'll automatically rotate to the next one. You just click the link to attend the event and Meetaway will handle the rest. This is an efficiency hack so you can practice your pitch and get feedback from others while in the comfort of your home or office and without a commute.
What do you need to do?
Prepare your pitch. We recommend you use the 1, 2, or 3 mins pitch outline from our Pitch Resources (https://www.launchise.com/pitch-templates-resource) to build your pitch. You just have to come ready to give a 3-5 min pitch.
What are others saying about this event?

"I liked the ideas, I liked the people, and I liked the concept."
"I was able to hear and share ideas. This is the most wonderfulest [sic] experience ever. All at my home office GREAT. Sign me up for the next event, please.
