About the Workshop:

Your brand is the single greatest asset built by your business. The average consumer is bombarded with up to 10,000 brand messages per day that are connected to a business evoking a reaction from the consumer. As a startup, trademarking your brand is critical. Learn how trademarks protect your business from the growing threat of future litigation, and how early planning can save you years of aggravation and potentially huge legal bills down the road.

About the Speaker:

Seth Gardenswartz has spent the past 20 years at the intersection of marketing, technology, and the law. After working in a family business, he developed an interest in technology and branding in law school. Seth started his legal career as a 17th street lawyer in Denver but transitioned to a boutique practice focused on emerging companies after going in-house as a Chief Business Development officer and general counsel for a startup. In 2015 he co-founded surefi, a branding, and marketing agency that uses data to build local and regional brands. His work in the startup (and craft beer) space steadily increased demand for his services as a trademark lawyer, which motivated to merge his practice with Candice Owens. Seth is a frequent speaker at craft beer and tech events and represents clients all over the country helping them build their businesses and enhance the value of their brands.
